Afghan Medical Complex (AMC) is a landmark cancer care hospital under development in Kabul, Afghanistan, created to provide free-to-affordable and high-quality oncology care for Afghan patients.
Afghan Medical Complex is being developed under the leadership of Atta Welfare Foundation to reduce the need for Afghan cancer patients to travel abroad for treatment. The hospital aims to bring modern cancer diagnosis, treatment, patient support, medical education, and research together in one specialized healthcare center in Kabul.
Many Afghan families face serious challenges when cancer treatment is needed. Limited specialist services, late diagnosis, high travel costs, and lack of advanced oncology care force many patients to seek treatment outside Afghanistan. AMC was created to bring hope closer to home by building a dedicated cancer hospital inside the country.

Afghan Medical Complex is being developed with support from national and international healthcare partners, consultants, architects, engineers, and medical experts. These collaborations help ensure that AMC follows modern hospital planning standards and builds long-term healthcare capacity for Afghanistan.
